Super-Close Google Maps Zooms

Holy moly that is a close up zoom of a camel (see my screenshot above) – and it works for other place on Google Maps too! Yes, it turns out that you can zoom in much more deeply onto Google Maps by doing this:

Select a location and switch to satellite view
Zoom in as far as you can, and click “link to this page” at the top right
Now replace the “z” parameter in the URL with a higher value, e.g. 20, 22, or 23, and wait. Some locations will now show more detailed imagery
The French Ecrans website and Geotrotter have more on this.

Letar du efter ny musik?

Idag har jag ett suveränt tips till alla musikälskare. Om du skulle vilja upptäcka nya artister som påminner om de du gillar idag så måste du bara titta närmare på Pandoras musiktjänst.

Pandora är ett musikprojekt som hjälper dig att upptäcka musik som du gillar. Så här funkar det,

1. Du börjar med att fylla i en artist eller låt som du gillar.

2. Pandora kommer sedan att leta efter andra artister/låtar som påminner om den artist/låt du angav.

3. När du har kommit till detta steg är det dags att lyssna och upptäcka ny musik.

Dessutom kostar det inget att använda Pandora. En perfekt tjänst helt enkelt för oss som letar efter ny musik att lyssna på.
